All smokers eventually quit.

SMOKING, WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?                    ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Statistics state that over half of all smokers successfully quit. 95% of smokeers who quit do so on their own. It is a quility of life issue as to whether they quit before  suffering irreversible damage from smoking related illnesses or while the body has the chance to heal itself. Smoking is the number one cause of preventable premature death- due to the side effects of cancers, heart disease, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and strokes. The body will begain to heal as soon as it stops being assaulted by smoke and carcinogens, with the prognosis of ten years smoke free bringing down the risk of lung cancer to that of a person who never smoked.
